Description
Bio:
Casey Shevlin is a former academic and researcher. From 2017-2019, she led the development and execution of a countywide gender diversity and equity study for Women’s Network in Akron. She currently works for the City of Akron as the Director of Sustainability and Resiliency.
Casey is originally from New York and received her B.A. in English from Emmanuel College in Boston and her M.A. in English from the University of Akron. She lives with her husband in the Firestone Park neighborhood of Akron and serves on the Women’s Network Leadership Institute’s Advisory Council and on the Board of the Conservancy for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
