TOPIC: Summit Metro Parks Celebrates 100 Years!
Founded in 1921, Summit Metro Parks is the second oldest park district in Ohio. Today, under the leadership of Executive Director Lisa King, the park district manages 14,000 acres, including 16 parks, several conservation areas and more than 150 miles of trails, with 22.4 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Annual attendance averages 6 million visits.
Celebrating their 100th anniversary, learn about the centennial events which include the opening of two new locations this year, Valley View and Summit Lake Nature Centers.
Registration closes April 23 at 12:00 noon with lunch. Registration to attend (with no lunch) is open until Monday, April 26 at 11:59 pm.
What is the Chamber Monthly Speaker Series?
An opportunity for our community and business leaders to attend a monthly professional development speaker series offering insights on business topics and core business strategies. Each Speaker Series Luncheon attendee will receive a “certificate of completion for course work” via email to show professional development hours. Lunch included. Event tickets are FREE..
