Workshop Description:  Are you representing yourself the way you want to on LinkedIn?  Have you heard about the importance of having a profile and you're not sure how to present your accomplishments, make relevant connections, and participate in the various features?  This presentation will help you learn the most advantageous language to use in your profile, what inclusions will have you reaching all-star status, and other strategies to get the most out of LinkedIn's many features. 
 
 

Speaker Bio: Coach, speaker, trainer and author, Cathy Posner is the founder and principal at Transition Consulting and Coaching. After many years of working in HR, program development and leadership for other organizations and consulting on the side, Cathy decided to give coaching her full attention, launching Transition Consulting and Coaching. Cathy provides career coaching, business coaching, HR support, nonprofit consulting services and workshops to transitioning individuals and organizations looking to grow or improve their processes.  She also works as a Senior Coach with Career Curve, providing outplacement and transition support to candidates, and as a Specialized Training Consultant with the Medina County Career Center Adult Education department.  Cathy is on the board of Feeding Medina County, the Medina Diversity Project and was past President of Medina County Women?s Endowment Fund.  She is also a member of Women?s Network Leadership Institute, American Association of University Women Medina Branch, the Greater Medina Chamber, the Greater Akron Chamber and 100+ Women Who Care. In 2014, Cathy was honored as a Women of Professional Excellence through Women?s Network of Northeast Ohio and was honored as a 2018 Women of Our Community award recipient and Athena Award nominee.

 
Originally from the east side of Cleveland, Cathy now lives in Medina with her husband, Mason, and daughter, Lucinda. Cathy especially enjoys helping individuals and organizations connect with the things they are good at, and supporting each to develop those gifts.
