Description
Capers, with a strong background in civil engineering and long active in Akron-area community organizations and events, formed Halle's Engineering & Design LLC. It's the first minority female-owned firm of its kind in Akron. She decided to leave her executive job of nearly seven years and create her own business even as the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has created economic uncertainty.
The Cuyahoga Falls and Stow-Munroe Falls Chambers of Commerce have collaborated to develop a new professional development and educational series. Connecting Women to Women offers an environment for women at any stage of their careers to connect, foster and sustain meaningful relationship; gain valuable resources within their community, and build allies and advocates.
The series is open to any woman who is a member of either Chamber.
