2021 Virtual Career Night - Cuyahoga Falls High School
Hosted by Cuyahoga Falls High School in partnership with the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce.
Cuyahoga Falls High School will be creating a Virtual Career Night to be held on March 3, 2021.
- During this event, sophomore students will be viewing videos in different careers.
- The careers will be uploaded to YouTube with the students being able to view the different career paths you selected.
- Students will view videos and then complete a written assignment in their Language Art class.
- We are looking for business leaders to participate.
- To make this day happen, the senior students of the Interactive Marketing & Design class will be recording a series of video interviews. They will either meet in person or do a zoom call with the businesses to record your replies to our questions. Most questions are about the path you took to get where you are today.
- Education, schooling, military, and entrepreneurship are all focuses of our videos.

This is a great way to interact virtually with the Cuyahoga Falls high school students and let them see firsthand the many opportunities for careers that they have in Cuyahoga Falls and Northeast Ohio.

DETAILS:
The videos will be a short zoom meeting, 3-5 minutes tops.
Deadline for videos submitted by February 23.
Any format would work: via zoom, mov or vid or mp4 file
Here are the questions we were going to ask:
- What kind of education do you need for your career?
- What types of salary/money can be made in your career?
- What made you want to do this job?
- Did you ever regret going to work with your company?
- Do you enjoy working with your company?
- If you could change one thing about your job what would it be?
- If you could go back would you change careers?
- What’s a typical day with your job?
- How have you grown as a person with this career?
- Is there room to be promoted within your company?
