TY & Associates

Brenda loves being part of the family at TY & Associates.  She sees helping others as life-giving and embodies part of their mission of partnering with people to help them find the best version of themselves.  Her specialties include intake coordinating, insurance billing, and taking great care of clients.

Brenda has always been a great creative problem-solver which has been very helpful in keeping teams running smoothly and efficiently.  She does her best to make sure TY's clinicians have all the tools they need so that they in return they can make sure their clients are equipped for success.

Jen Yensel has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University and is independently licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory status in the State of Ohio. In addition to her PhD, Jen has a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Kent State University.  Jen has experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings.  She has had the opportunity to work with a myriad of clients who dealt with a wide range of mental health issues.  Jen has also worked at a local hospital where she developed a substance abuse intensive outpatient program for adolescents, utilizing evidence based treatment and motivational interviewing.
